The 7th annual Red Shoe Bike Ride will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017. We hope you’ll join us for a day of cycling with 20, 35 or 62 mile routes. After the ride, there will be a great after-party with live music, Shakespeare’s pizza, and a Bur Oak Brewing Co. Beer Garden. But it will also be so much for than just a fun day! You will be helping families in need.
The most unexpected and devastating news for a parent to hear is “your child is sick.” When a family receives the medical advice that their best hope for treatment exists hundreds of miles from home, they experience gut-wrenching anxiety and overwhelming stress. Everyday families from all across the state and some from other states arrive at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbia and are welcomed into a supportive, caring, and affordable home environment – a place where families can stay together when kids need it most.
On behalf of all the families that use our services now and in the future, thank you for supporting the Red
Shoe Bike Ride!
