Terri Gray has served as Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri since 2013, providing overall leadership and vision to the organization.  She is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives, and works closely with the Board of Directors and the national RMHC organization. Prior to serving as Executive Director, she directed the campaign to build the current Ronald McDonald House, raising necessary funds to complete construction. Terri has extensive experience in non-profit management, fundraising and marketing; she is project-oriented and enjoys developing solutions to challenging problems.  She is passionate about serving those in need, helping to improve their short and long term circumstances, and working at RMHC allows her to continually make an impact in the lives of others.  Outside of work, Terri enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and watching her daughter play volleyball.

Ashlee Smith serves as Senior Director of Development. Her primary focus is raising funds to help support and operate the Ronald McDonald House by building relationships, stewarding and caring for the donors who are so generous to RMHC of Mid-Missouri. Prior to working for RMHC, Ashlee worked for 11 years at the University of Missouri in Donor Relations. She truly feels blessed to be serving so many wonderful families from all over the state of Missouri when they truly need it most. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her husband and son and traveling to National Parks.

Melanie Dixon

Melanie Dixon serves as Senior Director of Programs and Community Engagement.  She oversees our three programs – Ronald McDonald House, Happy Wheels Cart and Lunch on the House. In addition, she coordinates community awareness activities including Pull-Tab Pandemonium, Red Shoe Society and the Gingerbread House event. She experienced the House from a family perspective in 2009 when her son was in the NICU for 31 days. The Ronald McDonald House provided peace during a stressful time. Now she’s thankful to share the RMHC mission with our community and volunteers to help families going through similar battles. Outside of work Melanie is a mom and wife that enjoys a good book, a challenging puzzle or the newest idea in DIY projects.

Carrie Morrow

Carrie Morrow is responsible assisting and providing excellent customer service to guests staying at the Ronald McDonald House. She serves as the primary point of contact for all House guests, supervises the Guest Relations Staff and manages the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Carrie graduated with a B.A. in Public Relations, and spent nearly five years working in customer service and credit analysis with Hawthorn Bank. At Hawthorn, she was involved with their United Way program and had the opportunity to become a member of RMHC’s Red Shoe Society. Her favorite aspect of working at the House is hearing the success stories of families’ children that are staying at the House, and having the opportunity to interact with volunteers and staff that all have special bonds and a passion for helping the families in any way they can. Outside of her role at RMHC, Carrie is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan who regularly finishes near the top in her fantasy football leagues, and enjoys reading and trivia.

Lindsay has been with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri since 2013. She graduated from Mizzou with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism and serves as Marketing and Communications Coordinator. She is responsible for planning and implementing the communications and public relations strategy and increasing community awareness of RMHC of Mid-Missouri. The favorite part of her job is interviewing guest families for stories because she gets to hear and see the impact the House makes on each family. Outside of the office, Lindsay enjoys being outdoors and traveling with her husband and two kids.

Shelby is our Volunteer Coordinator and is the point of contact for all of the volunteers that serve at our house. She schedules volunteers to come serve at the house, at our signature events, provide meals for the families and more. Shelby graduated from William Jewell College in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Communications, and Applied Critical Thought and Inquiry and obtained a minor in Economics. Shelby is proud to be an Alumna of Alpha Delta Pi. Through her sorority, Shelby was able to volunteer at all three Ronald McDonald Houses up in the Kansas City area. Outside of work, Shelby loves to cheer on her favorite sports teams (M-I-Z! & GO CHIEFS!) and is a self-proclaimed ‘Reality TV Junkie’.

Christine Beerup is the Director of Business Relations and has been with RMHC for four years. Chris has a long background in marketing, non-profit and corporate event planning, and corporate fundraising. Chris is responsible for managing our Caring Partners program. Her favorite thing about working at the Ronald McDonald House is interacting with guest family members and hearing their stories. When not at work, Chris loves spending time with her friends and family.

Mimi Curtis is responsible for welcoming, serving, sustaining, and supporting families by providing a comfortable, clean, and inviting home away from home. Mimi volunteered at the House from 2004-2006, and then began working at the House in January 2007. She has her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and her master’s degree in administration. Mimi’s favorite thing about RMHC is getting to know the remarkably strong families that stay with us! Their heroic response to their child’s emergency situation inspires her. She is humbled by and stands in awe of their faith and fortitude. Mimi loves working at the Ronald McDonald House because it’s good for the heart, mind, and soul! Outside of work, she is a grandma, mother, wife, daughter, and sister who loves spending time with her loved ones.
